Rebecca Breeds plays Lou Wells, a struggling actress who returns from Los Angeles to her family home on Kangaroo Island. Once light-hearted and carefree, Lou now carries a darkness born from a family tragedy she has never fully escaped.

Adelaide Clemens plays Freya Wells, Lou’s sister, whose relationship with Lou is burdened by years of unresolved tension. Once inseparable, the sisters now see life—and each other—very differently, with neither respecting the way the other has chosen to deal with their shared past.

Erik Thomson plays Rory Wells, a man who is both tough and tender. After raising his daughters alone following the early death of their mother, Rory has one final wish: that Lou and Freya make peace with each other before he dies.

Joel Jackson plays Ben Roberts, a charming but narcissistic man who is accustomed to getting whatever he wants. He loves Lou and Freya for very different reasons and, selfishly, believes he can somehow have them both.
