Kangaroo Island

Kangaroo Island is an award-winning Australian independent drama directed by Timothy David and written by Sally Gifford.

Starring Rebecca Breeds, Adelaide Clemens, Erik Thomson, Joel Jackson and Nicholas Hope, the film follows a struggling Hollywood actress who returns to her family home on Kangaroo Island, where old resentments and new family secrets force her to confront the life she left behind.

Filmed on Kangaroo Island and in Adelaide, South Australia, the independently produced feature became one of the longest-running Australian narrative films of its theatrical year. It later reached #2 on Netflix Australia and received exceptionally strong audience survey results in Australia and the United States.
